United Utilities tenders £3m+ AMP6 mobile generators contract

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a contract for the hire and servicing of mobile generators worth up to £3.5 million.

The contract, which has an estimated value of between £3 million to £3.5 million, is divided into two Lots.

Lot 1 covers the hire of mobile generators, while Lot 2 is for the service and repair of fixed and mobile diesel generators and associated equipment.

The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of two suppliers to the framework agreement, which will run for 4 years with an option to extend for a further 4 years.

Requirements under the contract are to be provided for both planned and reactive 365 day — 24 hour 7 days a week.  The generators are critical to enable the continuous running of plant in the event of a power failure.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 3rd May – click here to access the tender documentation.
